- Recruit highly qualified coaches and offer appropriate training.
- Attempt to establish one (1) team in each age division. A second team in a single age division must be approved by the Board of Directors as a result of a compelling reason.
- Provide an organizational and fundraising framework.
- Periodically review the progress of each team in meeting its respective expectations.
- Assist each team in obtaining gyms for practice time.
- Provide the necessary equipment for each team to compete.
- Strive to see that no player is excluded from participating due to an inability to pay.
- Maintain non-profit status and strive to maintain an all volunteer staff.
- Make clear to all participants that school sports take priority over the teams of the Cabarrus Basketball Club.
- Each team's season ends no later than June 1 unless an extension is approved by the Board of Directors.
