Organization Expectations

1. Recruit highly qualified coaches and offer appropriate training.
2. Attempt to establish one (1) team in each age division. A second team in a single age division must be approved by the Board of Directors as a result of a compelling reason.
3. Provide an organizational and fundraising framework.
4. Periodically review the progress of each team in meeting its respective expectations.
5. Assist each team in obtaining gyms for practice time.
6. Provide the necessary equipment for each team to compete.
7. Strive to see that no player is excluded from participating due to an inability to pay.
8. Maintain non-profit status and strive to maintain an all volunteer staff.
9. Make clear to all participants that school sports take priority over the teams of the Cabarrus Basketball Club.
10. Each team's season ends no later than June 1 unless an extension is approved by the Board of Directors.
